excited are you to receive this letter?!?! Did it come in the mail or
electronically? I remember writing to my cousin in New Hampshire when I was
young. It was so exciting and excruciating to wait for her reply. In fourth
grade I got a penpal in Australia. How far away she seemed. How amazing and
exotic were all of the air mail stamps. Now, my children can “FaceTime” their
cousins across the country. They get an immediate update on each other's
haircuts and watch their concerts and games live.
started reading my favorite childhood series to my oldest son, it struck me how
enormous the world must have seemed to Laura Ingalls Wilder and how small it
seems to him. Still, the world needs help, needs God, and needs us. Northern
Choral Society gives Northern New York an annual reminder that Jesus is the
reason for Christmas. What we all do together is not unimportant or minuscule.
We touch hundreds of people's lives each year. Please join us!

will begin on Sunday September 29 at First Presbyterian Church, 403 Washington
St, Watertown. Registration will begin at 1:00pm. Fees this year are $20 for
adults, $10 for students (grades 9-12 and college with choral experience), and
$30 for families. We will rehearse from 2:00 until 4:15 each week, except as
noted. I strongly recommend that you attend all rehearsals. In the event that a
member misses more than 2 rehearsals, I will contact that member to discuss
whether or not he or she will be able to contribute positively to the final
performances as a results of the missed rehearsal time. Music for all of the
pieces will be available for you to borrow.
NOTE! If you bring a new singer to join NCS, you and your friend will each
receive $5 off your registration! I would be happy to talk with and listen to
anyone who is interested or unsure. I try my best to be approachable and
welcoming! Also, please like us on Facebook and check out our website!
